Day-wise Itinerary

Day 1: Bagdogra to Phuentsholing

Arrive at Bagdogra Airport and meet our representative for your transfer to Bhutan. Drive to Jaigaon, cross the border, and complete permit formalities in Phuentsholing.

Overnight Stay: Phuentsholing

Day 2: Phuentsholing to Thimphu

Drive to Thimphu after breakfast, passing scenic mountain roads, forests, and waterfalls. Stop at Chuzom Bridge to see the Paro-Thimphu river confluence and royal portrait.

Overnight Stay: Thimphu

Day 3: Phobjikha Valley

After breakfast and check-out, visit Simply Bhutan Museum to experience Bhutanese culture. Depart for Phobjikha Valley, stopping at Dochu La Pass for Himalayan views and a visit to the 108 Druk Wangyal Chortens.

Day 4: Transfer to Punakha

After breakfast, visit Gangtey Monastery, a key site of the Nyingmapa school of Buddhism. Travel to Punakha and hike to Chimi Lhakhang, the Temple of Fertility, for blessings and unique cultural insights.

Day 5: Punakha to Paro

After breakfast, visit Punakha Dzong, the administrative center of Punakha District. Transfer to Paro, check in to your hotel upon arrival.

Day 6: Hike to Tiger’s Nest

After breakfast, drive to the trailhead and begin the hike to the Taktsang Monastery (Tiger’s Nest). Enjoy serene time at the monastery, listening to prayer chants or meditating in the caves.

Day 7: Paro to Siliguri

After breakfast, start your return journey with a scenic drive. Cross Phuentsholing and enter India, continuing the road trip towards Siliguri.
